For many of us, stress is just a byproduct of our everyday lives that we've learned to cope with, but it's important to deal with and resolve the causes of stress, because when left unchecked, stress can trigger mood disorders that can affect our mental health.

Mindfulness is about focusing on the present moment. By focusing on the present moment, we can allow worry about  the past or anxieties about the future to simply melt away.

In this ‘Connect To Calm’ workshop, you will learn simple mindfulness techniques you can practice each day to  relieve stress and connect to a sense of calm within. 

This is an interactive and collaborative session where you will have the opportunity to learn about how mindfulness can be practically applied to help you better manage stress and overwhelm.

The workshop will cover a number of areas including:

  • The Body-Mind Connection
  • Deep Breathing for Stress Relief
  • Meditation To Calm a Busy Mind
  • Lifestyle Habits for Stress Management 
  • Evening Relaxation Techniques

This is an interactive and collaborative session, led by Mind Beyond Founder and mindfulness expert , Amber Jane McCormick. You will have the opportunity connect with others in a safe space and reflect on the type of change you would like to cultivate in your life. 

In order to create an intimate and interactive session, group numbers will be kept to a minimum.
